Super Juicy Turkey Burger with Sweetcorn & Dipping Sauce

Main Ingredients
- 4 Mission Roasted Red Pepper Pitta
- 250g[9oz]turkey, minced
- 1 tbsp basil, chopped
- 1 tbsp sweetcorn
- 4-5 tbsp dried breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp Worcester sauce
- Salt & pepper
Salad:
- 80g[30oz] red cabbage, finely sliced
- 40g[1 ½ oz] red onion, finely sliced
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 2 tbsp walnut oil
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- Salt & pepper
Dipping Sauce:
- 200ml[7 fl oz] mirin [Japanese fermented rice liqueur]
- 100 ml [3 ½ fl oz] soy sauce
- 1 tsp five spice powder
- 25g[1oz] fresh ginger, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 5 spring onions, finely chopped
- ½ tsp red chilli finely chopped
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients for the dipping sauce into a pan and bring to the boil. Remove from the heat and leave to cool.
- Slice open the pitta breads.
- Mix together the turkey,basil, sweetcorn, mayonnaise, breadcrumbs and Worcester sauce. Season and form into 4 small thin burgers. Fry in small batches and keep warm.
- Combine the salad ingredients and leave to marinade for 10 minutes.
- Into each pitta place a little salad and a burger and serve with the dipping sauce
