Turkey and Apple Salad Wrap
Ingredients
- 1/2 dessert apple
- 20 g celery, finely diced
- 50 g roast turkey, shredded
- 15 g pine nuts, roasted
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1 Mission Wheat and White Deli Wrap
- 1 teaspoon mayonnaise
- A few mixed lettuce leaves
Instructions
- Peel, core and slice the apple, mix it with the chopped celery, the shredded turkey and roasted pine nuts, then toss the mixture with the mayonnaise and season with freshly ground black pepper.
- Gently warm both sides of the deli wrap in a dry frying pan.
- Place it on a work surface and spread the teaspoon of mayonnaise evenly over it.
- Arrange the lettuce across the middle of the deli wrap and place the salad mixture over the lettuce.
- Fold the sides inwards to enclose the salad and cut in half.
- Serve at room temperature.
